12th Annual Coffee Brewers Championship Held in Colombia:



Fifty-four of the world's best baristas descended on Bogota, Colombia this week for the 12th annual World Barista Championship.
Hailing from coffee-producing countries, each contestant had to prepare four espressos, four cappuccinos and four original signature drinks in fifteen minutes.

Colombia is known as the world's number one producer of top-quality, washed arabica coffee, which is grown in lush mountain ranges at high altitude. One of those produced is located in Magdelina Teyuna, and Rob Page then orders it and prepares an appropriate roast. He christens this roast, "Colombian Supremo, Magdelina Teyuna"; Well balanced, chocolate and wine, medium body and mild. Very popular in-store brew at Bisbee Coffee.
