Rob Page Mans the Roaster Again

Rob Page, owner of The Bisbee Coffee Company, is back at the helm of his much loved roaster, and will be acting as roaster for quite some time now. His hands on approach is to ensure that his product reflects what he started years ago, the original brand of roasted coffee that he developed and branded as his signature blend.

Rob Page compares the art of coffee roasting to the intricate process of achieving a fine wine.

“Cupping,” or sampling allows Rob to adjust each roast  to achieve quality and consistency. When cupping, Rob takes into account body, flavor, color and aroma. And, by tasting the coffee at various roast shades, Page determines exactly when the flavor potential of a particular bean is released.
